Eb Major Pentatonic, Shape by Shape
Eb, F, G, Bb and C are the five notes of the Eb major pentatonic scale. Only two flats appear, and the shapes are the same as in any other key.
Put the root on the 11th fret of the low E string, or on the 6th fret of the A string for a lower box. C minor pentatonic has the same notes, which doubles the places you can use them. When you want to cover more of the neck, learn expanding the pentatonic box.

Structure
Eb major pentatonic scale notes:
How the major pentatonic scale is built:
The major pentatonic scale is built from the degrees 1 2 3 5 6, which gives the step pattern W-W-W+H-W-W+H (W = whole step, H = half step).
Counting in semitones from the root: 0, 2, 4, 7, 9. That makes it a 5-note scale.
