B7#5 is the symbol for the B augmented seventh chord, which contains B, D#, F## and A (root, major third, raised fifth and minor seventh). Compared with a plain dominant seventh, only the fifth changes: it is raised by a semitone.

The lowest voicing starts at fret 1 and the highest reaches fret 8. The B whole-tone scale contains all four chord tones, which makes it a reliable scale for soloing over B7#5. The F## here is a theoretical spelling: it keeps one letter name for each chord tone, although it sounds like an easier note. The logic of stacking thirds is explained in how chords are built.
