The G#m7 chord (G# minor seventh) is spelled G#, B, D# and F#, and it sounds identical to Abm7. Sharp keys call it G#m7, flat keys Abm7.

Is Abm7 the same as G# minor seventh?

Yes, the two names refer to one chord because G# and Ab are the same pitch. Abm7 is spelled with flats, including a Cb, so G#m7 is often easier to read.
