Gbm9 Guitar Chord | Play, Hear and Practice Interactively
Gb minor ninth, or Gbm9, is spelled Gb, Bbb, Db, Fb and Ab. It sounds identical to F#m9, which replaces the double flat and the Fb with the plain A and E. Both names describe the same pitches, so only the spelling differs.
The sharp name avoids the double flat altogether. Three voicings are listed, one of them a barre shape, and the lowest starts at the 2nd fret. All five notes belong to the Gb Dorian scale.
Hear Gbm9 as a strum and as an arpeggio on the fretboard at the top.
Gb minor 9th guitar chord is also written as Gbm9, Gbmin9 or Gb-9.
