Learning the F Persian Scale
Begin at the 1st fret of the low E string and you are already on the root of the F Persian scale: F, Gb, A, Bb, Cb, Db and E. It is one of the lowest positions available for this scale.
Cb is a theoretical spelling of B, and the E natural is the major seventh that leads back to F. Compare the shape with the Bizantine scale: the only difference is the flat fifth here.

Structure
F persian scale notes:
How the persian scale is built:
The persian scale is built from the degrees 1 b2 3 4 b5 b6 7, which gives the step pattern H-W+H-H-H-W-W+H-H (W = whole step, H = half step).
Counting in semitones from the root: 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11. That makes it a 7-note scale.
