B Persian with an Open B String Root
The B Persian scale is B, C, D#, E, F, G and A#. Open B and both open E strings belong to it, so the tonic and the 4th ring freely.
Fret the root at the 7th fret of the low E string or the 2nd fret of the A string. The half step from A# to B is the major seventh resolving upward, a strong feature of this scale.
