Eb sus2 Guitar Chord | Play, Hear and Practice Interactively

Ebsus2, the Eb suspended second chord, is made of Eb, F and Bb: a root, a major second and a perfect fifth. Its notes match those of Bbsus4, since a sus2 chord is the sus4 chord a fifth above.

Two shapes are listed on this page, both barre voicings between frets 6 and 8. The player at the top comes with a drum loop and a tempo control, so you can play along and try the chord in a steady groove. The Eb Mixolydian scale also contains Eb, F and Bb, and brings a more modal colour than the pentatonic. It is written D#sus2 in sharp keys.

Eb suspended 2nd guitar chord is also written as Ebsus2, Ebsus9 or Eb2.
