The Gsus2 chord, a G suspended second, is made of G, A and D: a root, a major second and a perfect fifth. The A stands where a B would sit in a G major chord, which is why the chord sounds unresolved.

Two shapes are listed, both barre voicings, between frets 7 and 12. Switch on the labels in the fretboard player at the top and each note appears by name while you play, so you can see G, A and D together. The pitches equal those of Dsus4. A natural scale to use is the G Mixolydian scale, which contains all three notes, and how chords are built explains why.
